Resharper command line tools inspectcode will not respect .editorconfig

I have a .editorconfig file and wish to run the inspectcode command line tool against my .NET solution. The .editorconfig file is in the root dir of my repository - the same folder as the .sln file. It has `root = true` set in the first line. It targets all file types as I have used `[*]`. There are a couple of rules it does seem to listen to, but many it does not. As an example, consider this code:

'private readonly object lockObject = new object();'

I have configured it to require an '_' prefix for private fields so this code should be flagged. In VSCode it is correctly highlighting this line and complaining about the naming violation. Running:

Yes just checked in Rider and it does respect the .editorconfig rules. I changed this particular rule and a few others temporarily and altered the code to violate rules as well in Rider and it correctly picked up on everything as I changed it back and forth. But still the commend line tool does not

Hi, I'm seeing the same issue as well. The .editorconfig is respected by Rider but it is ignored by the InspectCode.exe command line tool. Weirdly enough, I'm finding that the rules around the usage of "this." is inconsistent and outputs different things based on file: Sometimes InspectCode finds issue with the `this` qualifier being missing, and other times it's saying that `this` is redundant.

Command line tools version: JetBrains.ReSharper.CommandLineTools.2022.1.1

I'm currently trying to set up a continuous integration hook using these command line tools, but am currently blocked by this issue.

I've just tested a solution created using your example code line and the provided .editorconfig rules and I get the following warning with the InspectCode

<Issue TypeId="InconsistentNaming" File="ConsoleApp1\Program.cs" Offset="155-165" Line="8" Message="Name 'lockObject' does not match rule 'private_or_internal_field_should_be__camelcase'. Suggested name is '_lockObject'." />

Could you try to upgrade to the latest preview version (2022.2 EAP6) and check if the issue is resolved?
