I have a legacy system (c#) with alot of old frameworks and we are trying to lift it. We will replace a 10year old nHibernate with Entity Framework 6.3.
The structure is with a service layer and a repository layer and the team has decided that EF should be considered a repository.
So I want to move the injected repostitory layer inside the service layer and replace all calls with the code thats inside repository layer. Is that even possible? I understand that the code will need some heavy refactoring afterwards, but just to do this would save so much time.
