(Silent) Code cleanup on save Follow
Hello,
I wonder if there is any option to execute the code cleanup on file save for the specific file. As you can see here, there is a serious demand for this feature and some people use macros or third party visual studio extensions to achieve this.
Are there any plans implementing this in the near future? Or is there any serious reason not to do this?

Hello,
Silent cleanup on save is implemented in 2020.2, see https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/RSRP-115863.
Hello,
thanks for your fast reply. It seems I'm currently running version 2020.1.4 and I do not see any other downloadable version. Do you know when 2020.2 will be available for download?
2020.2 should be available later this week (or early next week). Alternatively you can download the latest preview build from https://www.jetbrains.com/resharper/nextversion/
Thank you for your reply. I installed the current EAP version and activated the feature in the settings, but unfortunately it doesn't seem to work.
I'm using VisualStudio 2019 with a cmake folder project. Could that cause this issue?
EDIT: It does work in with a .sln project.
Thanks, we'll investigate - https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/RSCPP-31106
I've noticed since enabling this feature that I've been getting a lot of issues where Visual Studio Preview editor loses its ability to save a file. I don't have any empirical evidence that R# is causing this but was wondering if it rang any bells on your side.
