Educational License - Deactivate to be able to commercialize my product

Hello :)

Recently my college got us the free educational license which is amazing! Thanks for that.

What I want to ask is: In about 1 year i'm going to finish college and won't be able to use *educational licensed* Jetbrains products for commercial purposes.

So:
How will I deactivate the jetbrains products so that i'll be able to commercialize my products?

If I do deactivate the product, can I then immidiatly commercialize my product?

If during college I worked with ReSharper ultimate to create a part of a product - can I, after college, finish the product, deactivate ReSharper ultimate and commercialize my product?

Hello,

this is our sales team reply:

Thank you for reaching out to us and being so enthusiastic about our products.

SO, after you graduate next year, your license would have expired, and if not, you can just deactivate it.

No need to deactivate your account, when the license is no longer valid, your graduation discount of 25% will immediately kick in and is valid for a year.

You can purchase whatever license you would like to purchase with that discount.

Unfortunately, the licenses are strictly for educational purposes so you can not work on commercial projects with the license.

If you are still in school with the student license and you would like to work on commercial projects (hobby projects don't count as commercial), you would need to purchase a personal license, and if you want you can choose to make use of your discount already.

I hope this answers all your questions.
