How to get started

I've just installed ReSharper C++ and am trying to do some basic coding in Visual Studio 2019. I've spent 2 hours looking for a way to "get started". When I start VS, it tells me that I have the latest version installed, but I can't seem to find a menu or see any thing anywhere that would seem to indicate that I really have ReSharper running.

How do I get started? Even with the simplest of things like templates or inserting an if statement?

I'm sure I'm missing something but an extensive search for clear documentation has produced nothing.

Please Help!

Hello,

Do you have the ReSharper menu in Extensions?

I did finally find that menu which answers a lot of questions. My issue now is that none of the Resharper Keyboard shortcuts seem to work, none of them. I read many questions/solutions on the Internet concerning this problem but none of them seem to resolve my problem. Is this a known problem? How to I enable the keyboard shortcuts?

I've set Resharper\Options\Keyboard to Visual Studio but that didn't help.

What else can I do?

I've head many really good review of Resharper but I have to say, my "getting started" experience so far has been less than impressive.

Please try resetting the shortcuts with "Apply Scheme".

After that shortcuts should work. If it does not help, which shortcut exactly does not work for you? To which command is it bound in VS keyboard options?

I had to reinstall Resharper but now it seems to work. Thanks for the feedback.
