Feature request: Move refactoring should be reflected in GIT
When i do a Move refactoring to reorganize my code base the affected files are copied to the new location and deleted in the old location. When the code base is under source control (a Git repository in my case) the changes aren't reflected in the repository. When i want to commit my changes the moved files are displayed as "missing" in the old location and not added in the new location. I would love to see that R# automatically add and delete the affected files in the repository while doing the refactoring.
I'm using Visual Studio 16.5.0 and 16.6.0 Preview 1 Enterprise and R# 2020.1 EAP4.
Best regards
Andreas

Hello Andreas,
Thank you for the feedback.
I've filed a corresponding request - https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/RSRP-478680.
Please feel free to comment or vote for it.
Thank you.
Hello Andreas,
Could you please provide us some additional info? Some screen recording demonstrating the problem and info about project type would be extremely helpful.
Also, please check if VS native move operation works fine (just select and drag-n-drop files to the expected folder).
Thanks in advance.
Currently i‘m not able to provide the information because i stay in hospital. I will provide them when i‘m back home
Best Regards
Andreas
