Resharper creates folder _Resharper.Cashes in solution

Hi,

I am not sure if this is a bug or some king of setting.

I am using VS 2019 Version 16.3.7 and JetBrains Resharper Ultimate 2019.2.3 and this causes some issues for me.

Resharper creates a folder with a name _Resharper.Cashes. Inside there is another folder ReSharperPlatformVs16192_e3afc88f.<SolutionName>  with the following content:

 

Could you please tell me how this can be avoided?

Could you please check what is set in ReSharper | Options | Environment | Store solution cashes in..?

Hi,

It is set to Solution folder.

 

What should be the right options - system temp folder?

Hello Vily,

 

Sorry for the delay in responding.

It's up to you what folder should be used for the caches storage.

I suppose the most preferable way is some custom folder.
