Resharper continuosly crashes with DevExpress WPF project

Yesterday I encountered about 20 crashes of Visual Studio at random times while working on a project with DevExpress WPF controls. This is very unfortunate since we use DevExpress heavily and I really depend on ReSharper. I'm using 2018.3 Resharper and DevExpress 17.1. I don't have the option of upgrading to a newer version of DevExpress.
