Resharper licence server owner
I tried to upgrade our license server installation with the MSI but I got an error message telling me the installation was done with another user and I need to log with that user (really? in 2018? ok...) I finaly found the user, he leaved the company couple years ago, and the account was deleted from active directory. Oh crap...
We manage to restore the account, change the password and do the upgrade. (really? in 2018?..ok)
Now I don't want to face the same thing in a couple months/years.... is there a way to take the ownership of the installation?

There's no such option of changing ownership in license server.
We can only suggest to remove previous installation and install license server using the another user account.
