ReSharper causing project openning to fail

Don't know how many people this is happening to but since the latest update to VS2017 (15.6.3) my solution has been failed to load. This only happens when ReSharper Ultimate (2017.3.5) is installed.

The error I am getting is:

The value "" of the "Project" attribute in element is invalid.

which is caused by the statement:

I think that Resharper has changed the environment variables, but I don't know where it is defined before.
