in the Unit Test Session, when you right click on a test, the option to “Cover Unit Tests” does not show. Downgraded to 2025.1.1 and the menu item shows.
We have encountered a similar issue which was resovled by reinstalling dotcover. Could you please:
Upgrade back to 2025.2.1.
If the issue persists, re-install Visual Studio.
If the issue continues, please refer to How to get dotCover logs("dotCover in Visual Studio" section), then reproduce the issue and collect dotcover logs. You can upload the logs to the Upload Service and share the Upload ID.
Did you enable the new “out-of-process” mode? That's one of the limitations:
