Build with resharper does not update values in Maui project

I am working on a rather big Maui project and work and I tried using Resharper to (hopefully) speed up the build process and get a bit of JetBrains in Visual Studio. 
Unfortunately there seems to be an issue so when I change a value in a code-behind file (.xaml.cs) it is not reflected when building the project but there are no indication anything is wrong. 
When I try the built-in Vs code builder it works fine. 

Also, the “Build & Run” window show the main project at Red after building, but there are no errors anywhere. And all the projects under it is red, yellow or grey, so why red?
