Hi there!
Has anyone managed to:
1. Login to the ReSharper EAP site.
2. Download ReSharper.
3. Install it.
4. Run it.
5. Develop with pleasure.
Please answer.

1. After some problems, yes.
2. Yes.
3. Yes. Question: in the future, will you be able to work around the manual
steps required for installation?
4. Yes. Got some errors, added as bugs to Tracker.
5. So far so good, though I am not seeing error checking in action...

I got in using eapuser/eapuser. I was able to create an account after a
while but after I created it, I couldn't log in with it since it told me my
username and password were not correct even though they were.
I got it running through after logging in with eapuser/eapuser. Haven't
played around with it much yet but it is working and looks good so far. I
noticed lots of debug messages in the console for the plugin too.

Grrr. Misclicked on the newsreader. I'll try posting against the right
message now.
1. Ran into the "You are not licensed to add any more users to this
installation of Confluence" exception. Got in with eapuser/eapuser
2. Yes
3. Yes
4. Yes (after doing manual steps)
5. Working on it.
BTW, thanks for starting this. You're definitely giving hope to people on
VS.NET.

What are the manual steps that I must have missed?
I just installed and must have run past them.
I saw very little to work with thus far, but it's very exciting to even
have a "Rename" :)
Is it temporary or (so far) inherent to the plugin that a refacroting is
not a single unit of undo, but instead the individual changes are in the
undo list?
Cheers!

Hi Valentin!
1. Yes, after registration had been fixed.
2. Yes
3. Yes
4. After some initial problems. The first time I tried to open an existing
solution file in VS.NET (2003), I saw the ReSharper Debug messages which
have been previously reported in this newsgroup. After a few seconds, VS
crashed. I restarted VS again and reopened the same solution. This time I
received what appeared to be an ITN bug report form. I tried to submit it,
but received an error from the website (HTTP 400?) that said the submit
failed. However, the solution appears to have opened successfully this
time. Have not yet started trying out ReSharper capabilities.
5. That's certainly my goal. We'll see, but I'm hoping for the best.
FYI: I am a long-time Turbo Pascal/Delphi developer that has been working
with C#/.NET for about 9 months now. While I have heard of IDEA, since
we're not a Java shop, I haven't used that tool. Since our developers have
MSDN subscriptions which includes VS.NET, having a ReSharper VS.NET plug-in
vs. a full ReSharper IDE is more cost effective for us at this point in
time.
Looking forward to great things from ReSharper.
thanks,
randy

It's not intentional of course. However VS.NET does not seem to support
multi-file operations undo. We do not know yet if we'll be able to integrate
refactorings undo into VS.NET undo or will have a separate command for it.

Yes, to all 5.
Though my C# development is just-for-fun, I've been really missing IDEA
features in VS.NET.

Sometimes i got a Bug-tracking-Dialog using the Code-Completion, but i

Moment.
