debug window steals project streams

The Resharper debug window steals stdin,stderr, and stdout from progams you
run in the debugger. This is less than ideal as I usually keep the
Resharper window minimized and out of the way. Now when I run my program I
always end up wondering where my output went until I remember to go find the
ReSharper debug console. Can anything be done about this, so that my
programs go back to behaving as they always have (opening a console window
when they are run in the debugger)?

Thanks,
Tom

Tom,
we are going to hide console in one of the next EAP builds.
Instead, debug output will be directed to the log file, so you'll not
experience the problem with trapping streams.

For now, there is a couple of 'secret' environment variables you can set to
redirect ReSharper debug output to a file:

RESHARPER_LOG_TO_FILE = "Yes"
RESHARPER_LOG= This should disable debug console. Sorry for inconvenience. "Tom Wagner" ]]> wrote in message
