Refactoring and Version Control

Not to preempt the pending feature set but I wonder if there were plans
for source control integration with certain refactorings such as Rename
class?

We're currently moving to Subversion where a specific svn command would
need to be issued to rename a file. If the class name matches the
filename will there be future support for hooks into pluggable source
control systems to resolve this issue so that I can simply go ahead and
commit the changes without having to remember the files I have to rename?

Thanks
Darren

Darren,

we currently have no plans to support specific version control systems.
However, we're going to make ReSharper work smoother with the source control
integration
provided by VS.NET, so if Subversion has an integration with the IDE (to the
best of my knowledge
it has), it will perhaps facilitates your work. Not sure it will help to
reduce the number of
operations required in this particular case with renaming class / file
though...
