I tried doing a repair and then an uninstall as you described. Both APPEARED to succeed. This time I did not get the exception below. However, Resharper is still installed on my machine according to the Add/Remove Program Files control panel. When I go try to uninstall from the control panel it fails saying something like "bailing". I can't read it it goes by too fast. I then decided to ignore the fact that the control panel seems wrong and I installed build 77, it seems to be working.
Could you guys create some sort of utitlity to REALLY do an uninstall instead of the "safe" msi uninstall?

John,
try running
>"C:\Program Files\JetBrains\ReSharper\Registrar.exe" /uninstall
and look what happens. This should give you a hint why the MSI uninstaller
fails.
Let us know about results.
