Errors Gutter Comments

Hello,

I really like the Errors Gutter, but it seems it's linked to the Syntax
Highlighting option. As soon as I uncheck it, the Error Gutter goes blank
and the tooltip states "Analysis in progress.". It really means that
there's no analysis going on since F2 does not take you to any errors or
warnings. I need to disable syntax highlighting on a few projects due to
well-known performance issues. If you can't separate the two features, then
the Errors Gutter should display a better tooltip or not be shown at all.

Thanks!

Derek,

unfortunately, it's not possible to display errors and warnings on the
gutter when highlighting is disabled,
since highlighting is the only source of this information. However, you're
quite right about tool-tip displayed
in such a situation - it should be different. We'll fix it.

Thanks for your report.
