Please please provide an msi file for the setup
My client's corporate firewall blocks all .EXE attachments, but allows MSI files through.
Please can you provide an MSI version of your install? (I know its a hack, but hey, it works)

Is it ok to private a zip-file containing the .EXE?

No. The firewall blocks zip files that contain an EXE. It this represents a problem, then I will sort something out.

Zip is a well-known format, so it might be better to use something more
obscure like RAR, LHA, or ARC so that the firewall has no idea how to
handle it.

Well how do you usually download applications from the Internet? Normally they are .exe files!

MSI files are fine. At my current client I have to be a little more creative in getting EXE files into the building... It just means that I have an extra day before I can start using the latest release. Not a big deal, as I indicated. It was just very convenient being able to get hold of the latest release as soon as I noticed it was available.
