Cursor position after code completion

This is happening ALL the time, and it's getting to be very annoying.

It's very natural for me, when selection a code-completion item, to hit
enter to select it. But when I do, the cursor INVARIABLY jumps to the
beginning of the line! When is that ever the right thing to do? The answer
is: never. Please please please, can you ensure the next patch or release
fixes this problem?

Sure, if I press Tab, it seems to work right, or if I just continue typing
with a comma or closing paren or semicolon... but my fingers aren't trained
that way, and since Enter is a supported way of making the selection, it
really should do the right thing.

Is anyone else seeing this?

Paul,

this is a known problem, and unfortunately we've not managed to find its
source so far.
However, there is a simple workaround:

this problem is observed only with those files that have both code & design
views (like forms,
controls etc) and only if you open the design view first, and then the code
view. If you open the code view first,
you'll not experience this problem.

We understand this is a very annoying bug and we'll try to resolve it.

Knowing the work-around is half the battle. Thanks, that will help!

I've tried this workaround and it does not seem to work for me.

What is extremely vexing is that, at first this was a problem for me. (Cursor ending up at beginning of line after enter key is pressed for code completetion.) Then the problem mysteriously disappeared. Then, it appeared again this morning.

So, I downloaded build 104 and tried the workaround as suggested - but it's still a problem.

It seems like build 104 makes things even worth. =(
I start running into this "issue" more often...
