Peculiar code completion problem

Hi,

It seems like code completion, in any form, doesn't work at all in my VS
2005 Beta 2 (R# build 201-203) installation. I've double checked that all
the keyboard mappings and such is correct. I've also tried to reinstall the
keyboard settings (as instructed) and resetted these several times. The keyboard
settings (for VS 2005) currently report that control+space is mapped to ReSharperAddIn2005.CompleteCodeBasic
and ReSharper Options | Code Completion | Behaviour | Basic is checked.

Have I overlooked something? Please advice.

Sincerely,
Ronny Dahl

Hello Ronny,

so what happens when you press ctrl+space? Does the completion popup window
appear?

Hello Dmitry,

Thanks for a swift reply.

If I've written e.g. Console.Writ and press ctrl+space, the caret will move
to the right without doing anything (except moving the caret, of course).
The same will happen if the caret is in the middle of a method. E.g. Console.Wri
teLine will move "teLine" to the right without displaying the expected popup.

Sincerely,
Ronny

Can you reproduce this problem on a new created simple solution?

Hello Dmitry,

It seems like it's a generic problem with most (the ones I've tested) of
my solutions. It doesn't matter if I create a new blank solution/project.
The problem remains.

Can you reproduce this problem on a new created simple solution?

It sounds like the ctrl-key isn't being sensed, and it's just like pressing
space... is that true?

Hello Paul,

Thanks for your reply. The ctrl key works as it's expected to. E.g. when
I press ctrl+/ it'll comment the current line

It sounds like the ctrl-key isn't being sensed, and it's just like
pressing space... is that true?
