Test runner usability suggestion

Hi,

I'm just starting to use build 105, after having bailed on an earlier build.
This one is running pretty stably for me -- I've used it all day and haven't
seen a single exception. I do have lots of stuff turned off, and are mainly
using R# for the refactoring and the test runner.

I really like having a test runner built into my environment, as it gives
me the green/red bar that TD.Net never did. It makes it pretty easy to run
tests, find individual tests to run, etc, but it is difficult to jump to
a specific line when a test fails. Is there a way to make the clickable link
to the line in a stack trace closer to the LHS of the pane? I have to scroll
way over to get to that link, which is a pain when I'm trying to get things
to work. Closer to the left would definitely be better.

Thanks,
bab

Hello Eugene,

It always had this feature!

Thanks, Eugene,

Perhaps I didn't explain what I was trying to say well enough. I wasn't suggesting
that you put the links in, I was suggesting that you put them in a place
I could get to without horizontal scrolling. There is almost no way to see
the test hierarchy and the link part of the stack trace at the same time
without constantly horizontally scrolling. Finding a way to address this
was the usability suggestion I was making.

Love it so far!

We will change the font in the console window to proportional one (and smaller
size). Hope this will help.

BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

How about using a table with one column with the links if any (keyboard
selectable, please), and the other with the messages one line by line?

Pretty large change, but better solution, I think.

Pablo
