Vary strange. I have to check this.

I'm using build 206 on VS2005 Beta 2 -- if it helps you...

Situation is even worse... I do EXACTLY the following steps:

1) start VS2005
2) invoke Resharper|Options command
3) select Code Style tab
4) choose 'From external file option'
5) press on ellipsis to browse for a file, choose a file
6) dismiss the options dialog by pressing OK
7) invoke Resharper|Options again
8) the changes are lost!

Moreover, VS2005 crashes during termination.

Do you need any specific information to investigate this issue?

You shouldn't be able to alter these options without loaded soulution.
Fixed in 207
