Some formatting ideas

Different font sizes (maybe by a scaling %), italic, underlines, line spacing,
strike-through, shadow customisable per item type.

Hello Ronnie,

thanks for your ideas, but it's not feasible to implement them all within
the limitations of the VS code editor - it relies on constant height of the
character, thus no scaling can be done.

To some extent, however, you can
configure how different constructs are shown via VS Fonts and Colors dialog
- it is often possible to set italic and underlining there.

Hello Dmitry,

That is the answer I expected - but if one doesn't ask one doesn't get!
Is there a .net IDE from JetBrains in the pipeline?

Hello Ronnie,

there's no determined date for IDE EAP. Currently, releasing ReSharper 2.0
add-in has much higher priority for us.

You can set fonts to italic? In the 'Fonts and Colors' dialog I can only
see the 'Bold' check box.

Thomas

Hello Thomas,

looks like I was overly optimistic about italic - that's indeed not possible.
