Highlighting missing

Hi,
I installed build 217, but the highlighting next to the code window doesnt show up at all, all the refactorings are disabled.

How can i fix this. I tried installing a prev build with no luck.

Can it be a incompatibility with coderush?
I tried disabling coderush, with no luck

Thanks

Hello Heinrich,

does it happen on every solution? Do any features of ReSharper work?

Hi Dmitry,

I just installed build 218. if I open a new solution the highlighting and refactoring options appear. On a current solution the highlighting is gone and most of the refactoring is disabled. I did try to delete the cache and reopen the solution, but that didnt seem to work.

Hello Heinrich,

could you please elaborate more on the problem with your current solution?
Is highlighting disabled
on all files? What does the top of the error stripe (on the right side of
the editor window) tell if you
hover mouse over it? What kind of projects does your solution include?

Ok, i played around a bit and found this. My current solution has projects in solution folders, and some projects in sub-solution folders, ie solution folders that are children of solution folders, as opposed to solution folders created on the root of the solution.

The projects in the "sub-solution folders" has no sidebar error-highlighting and almost all refactoring options are disabled. the Projects in the root-solution folders has error highlighting and refactoring options are enabled.

When I move a project from a "sub-solution" up to a root-solution folders and re-open the solution , error-highlighting and refactoring comes back.

Hope this helps
