eap (build 219) really, really slow on vs2003
I'm using build 219, and it seems like the eaps have been getting slower and slower. Just while I'm typing it often hangs or just makes every....key...stroke...take...a...really...long...time. I can sometimes type maybe 20 characters while resharper thinks. It's REALLY annoying.
My team wants to switch to VS2005, but they don't want to do it w/o resharper, and the EAP just doesn't perform fast enough to make it any better than the released version right now, and in fact it makes things worse.
Are you planning any performance improvements?

I have also been experiencing this problem. It seems that the longer the
file, the slower typing becomes. If I am working on a very small file (e.g.
a class with one method), then everything seems to perform okay, but as soon
as the file gets very big (4 or 5 members, which really is still small) things
slow down considerably. I notice that while I'm typing and waiting for the
character to appear on the screen, the little box in the upper right is gray
symbolizing that resharper is analyzing the file. Could that be related
to the performance issue? This really does make it hard to use Resharper
with this happening. Hopefully it can be fixed soon.

Hello Andy,
does it make any difference if you disable ReSharper's highlighting (ReSharper|Options|Highlighting)?
