227 Debugging Visual Studio tests from Test View or F5 hangs

Since build 227 attempts to run Visual Studio Tests with debugger - the test
fails in case that is significant - hang and the debug session is never
exited. No option to finish the debugging session appears on the toolbar,
but the title bar still shows running. At this point the only option seems
to be to re-start the IDE.

Some more information. Passing tests seem to fail too. Interestingly
activities which are usually prompted with a 'do you want to stop debugging'
like a re-build don't any more, and behave as if debugging had ended. So it
is the reset of the IDE to a 'debugging is finished, I'm editing state' that
seems to be failing.

Hello Ian,

please clairfy: are you using ReSharper Unit Test Runner? If yes, what do
you mean by
'Visual Studio Tests'? Thanks.

Hi Dmitry,

No, I am using the new unit test support in VS 2005. I am running them
either through Test View or by setting the startup project to be the test
dll and hitting F5.

I can send you the offending project, if you tell me where to zip it up and
send it too. It is small as it is an early stage of the project

Hello Ian,

does the problem happen if you disable ReSharper via Tools|Add-In Manager?
You can send the project
to me (dsha at jetbrains.com).
