[232] Auto-pop-up extremely slow

Have 6 projects with over 500,000 lines of code, Auto-pop up is extremely slow, unusable, CPU shoots up to 100% for ages, even scrolling through the list (when it finally appears) is painful.

Going back to 224, it does not have this problem.

Was it better in #231? In #232 we've made some changes that slowed autopopup
down. We'll fix it in #233.

No, it's been slow for quite a few build now, I'll try 233 when it's released and let you know. 224 is very fast by comparison. Thanks.
