[235] Stack Trace Explorer

Hi guys,

I was wondering how the stack trace explorer window works exactly, because
I always get an empty dockable window (just a gray background) when I open
it. Is this a bug or am I missing something?

Greetings,

Guy

Guy,

How do You open it? The "standard" workflow is to hit ctrlshiftE and paste
a stack trace. Then, the stack trace explorer window with a tab control will
be open, an active tab will contain the stack trace You've just pasted.

However, if You go to ReSharper->Windows->Stack Trace Explorer menu, the
toolwindow will be open, but its content will be exactly the same it was
before You closed the toolwindow. If You closed all the tabs, than the
window will be empty.

Hello Sergey,

Ah yes, I see...

It's a bit confusing though, especially when it does not open docked but
as a floating toolwindow.

It might be more intuitive if the window would never be completely empty,
but had some kind of button to quickly open the 'ctrlshiftE'-window and
paste a stacktrace.

Greetings,

Guy
