[301] Time it takes to install the hotfix
I see that I am still having issues getting the hotfix installed. It takes
at least 30 minutes to install the hotfix. I have tried this on my personal
computer and at my business computer. Both are running Visual Studio 2005
Team Suite. The problem is not ReSharper itself so my question is if someone
here has experienced the same?

I had the exact same problem. I cancelled it and now when it asks for it I just tell it No. I might be missing out on something but if so I haven't noticed.
I have VS 2005 SP 1 Beta 1 installed.
I've always had a problem with the hotfix. Personally after 30 min I gave up and now I install Resharper without the hotfix.
I have the beta of the service pack 1 for VS 2005.
The hotfix took a couple hours to install on my box. So 30 minutes was most
likely just not long enough. Yes, I know, 2 hours is obscene...I can install
Visual Studio faster than that. :) I believe the hotfix fixes an issue
with syntax coloring, so if you don't have the Color Identifiers option turned
on, you probably won't miss it. Also, I believe the hotfix will be included
in SP1 of Visual Studio so then it will no longer be necessary.

actually the hotfix shouldn't install it all if VS 2005 Service Pack 1 is
installed on the machine. We'll update the installer accordingly.
