Resharper doesn´t install on Vista x64 Visual Studio SP1 + Vista Update

I tried to install the latest EAP Version of resharper under windows vista ultimate x64 but at
the end it displays an error message and rolls back the installation, actually everything is installed when the error message pops up and i open the Visual studio I can work without problems with resharper, but I have to finally say ok and then the whole installation is rolled back :-< . But Resharper 2.5 installes without problems.
As a note i installed it as a normal user and not as an Administrator.
I think before the Upgrade to SP1 + Vista Update the installation worked.

Attached is the installation log of an unsucessful installation

By the next EAP release (and a nightly build, maybe) we'll ensure that the
installation is not rolled back on such a failure …

As a note i installed it as a normal user and not as an Administrator.

Were there any elevation prompts?

I'm afraid the log is not complete, it's the log up to the failure point
(messagebox, probably), but it does not include any error codes, reasons,
etc yet.

From the log I can see that you've been upgrading something like an existing
2.5 installation. Would a clean installation succeed? That under an administrative
account?

Hi Serge,

I ran into this same problem this weekend on Vista. I was doing a clean 3.0
build 407 install and also encounter an error. The installer rolled back the
install. I was running as Administrator with UAC turned off.

Your right in the end there came an message prompt, that said

There is a problem with this Windows Installer package,
A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personal or package vendor.

The other installation I will try.

I'm very much interested in seeing the installation logs — just to make sure
no errors have gone unnoticed.

Could you please make a log with “msiexec /i ReSharperSetup.msi /log Install.log”
next time you install a new build, compress it, and post it in here?
