orcas: uninstall: resharper still in menu and kb shortcuts overridden

Resharper 3.0
VS "Orcas" 9.0.20404

Installed via:

"To install ReSharper 3.0 for Visual Studio 2008 run the installer with the following command line: msiexec /i ReSharperSetup.msi VSVERSION=9.0"

Demo'd Resharper. Demo expired, uninstalled via Add/Remove Programs.

The "ReSharper" menu still shows up in my VS top menu bar; all options are greyed out. I'd like to get this out of there.

The bigger problem is that (I assume) Resharper is still blocking some of my keyboard shortcuts. When I installed the demo, I noticed my custom mapping for ctrlW stopped working. After uninstall, still not working. It's still mapped in the VS IDE, it even shows up in the File menu, but no longer works. ctrlW has been remapped to select an adjacent word.

Any help getting Resharper clean of my IDE without a reinstall?

Otherwise really enjoyed ReSharper and still considering it.

Orcas beta 2 came out the other day, so I uninstalled and reinstalled VS. This got rid of the Resharper menu in the menu bar, but my keyboard shortcuts still weren't working.

Unfortunately, I wasn't very methodical at this point, because I was frustrated. I reset all of my keyboard shortcuts (there were only a few, but often used), and then deleted every ReSharper registry reference I could find, or at least every one that might have been mixing things up. There were quite a few, and as I did it, I was getting the feeling I'd likely have to re-install VS again.

But, VS loaded, and I re-added my shortcuts, and things seem to be working fine. I certainly don't like to hack my registry, and I would generally discourage it. It might have been that resetting my keyboard shortcuts would have done the trick.

Anyhow, I'm up and running again, and things seem alright.
