Maybe I wasn't clear enough, so let me try again. I have created a new Code Cleanup profile and named it 'Default'. This is done on the solution level, so for each new project in that solution, that Code Cleanup profile exists.
However, when I create a new solution, I have to redefine it. Is there some way that my custom Code Cleanup profile can be added to R#'s profile list so that each new solution has it available as well.

Ah, Code Cleanup profiles. Yes, they're currently per-solution. That's likely to change before the release, the issue progress can be tracked at http://www.jetbrains.net/jira/browse/RSRP-68039 .
Hello,
This is what the "Not shared..." selection does. To save the profile into
a backup file, use the Export button.
