Case-sensitive Intellisense option missing?

Hi, I've used previous versions of ReSharper in past jobs and I know it used to have an option to turn on Case Sensitive Intellisense.  However I've installed the latest EAP build (1758) to try at my new job, and am not seeing this option.  I seem to recall it was under Intellisense->Completion Behavior but I've looked there and through as many other option screens as I can think of and can't find it.  Was this feature removed, is this a bug, or is the option somewhere else now?  (BTW it would be nice if the Options had a Search feature like apps such as Firefox, TOAD, etc. have.)  Really hope it's not gone, I would miss it greatly...

Hello Paul,

We've removed this option in ReSharper 5.0. Could you please elaborate more
why this option is important for you and code completion doesn't work conveniently
without case sensitive prefix matching? Thank you!

Hi, thanks for the response. Really sorry to hear that's been removed.  :-(  Also rather surprised, as I would've thought it would not be a hard feature to support.

I find case-sensitive matching allows me to be far more efficient.  A frequent situation I run into is working with local variables for common objects in the app's domain, where the names tend to start with or be the same as the object type.  E.g. Say I have a local variable or parameter called "contractTerms" that I'm manipulating in a method.  If matching's case-sensitive I can often just type the lower-case 'c' and Tab and it's done, but if it's case-insensitive I'll get my app's entire list of Contract* types, and since I've probably been working with those quite a bit odds are one of them is picked by default, so then I have to go down the list to pick it, or do what I usually do and just type the whole thing in.

Also for names/types that have very common prefixes (App, Pre, etc.) it helps narrow down the list to the point where it's faster to pick from the list than type 6-8 chars to get specific enough.

I know there are times when case-insensitive matching is handy, and not everyone would prefer case-sensitive, but I certainly do!  It was definitely a feature I made good use of on past jobs.
