Live Templates broken in 6.0.2144.5?

The last few builds, and currently 6.0.2144.5 seem to have regressed quite a bit.  Two things that stand out is the the "Processing source files" status is always on in the status bar which seems to be bogging down VS.NET as a whole.  The other one is that Live Templates don't seem to trigger while typing.

Hello,

Regarding the problems you've mentioned:
1. At what point (after solution is opened, after building the solution etc)
does 'processing source files' message appear? Does this happen with any
solution or just with a particular one?
2. Could you please describe the exact scenario when a live template should
trigger, but does not? I've checked that and live templates work fine for
me with the latest build available.

Thank you!

Ignore my #2 item.  That was an intermittent problem that doesn't seem to happen with the latest builds.

For #1, when I open the solution, the 'processing source files' message appears with the status bar at approx 0%.  It can take an hour or more for it to reach 100%.  And as soon as I open a file to edit (aspx, .cs, .vb, and even .js), the message appears again and the status is at about 80%.  It pegs my CPU and brings VS.NET to an almost unusable state.

It happens in all solutions, although the one that is particularly painful has 71 projects.

In VB.NET I got so used to typing Ctrl-E-L and then my live-templace-name, I didn't know you could just type the name of the live template now and press tab and it inserts it. This used to work in C# but never in VB.NET. Thanks! That's awesome...
