Typing with the Dojo Javascript library is *slow*

in VS2008,  in a MVC 2 app.....

I added the dojo javascript library to the project (which is quite large).   

Typing anything in webpages has become painfully slow.

Build 6.0.2149.137 on 2011-05-07T14:59:54
