Performance problems resolved

Just a quick note to say thank you to the R# devs - all of the performance problems I was having in 6.0 appear fixed.

This is also by far the most stable EAP I've seen yet. Been using it full time today without a single issue. Nice work!

I have to agree. Better performance and one of the best EAPs I have ever seen (usually I get a couple of exceptions ;))

Good job :)

I agree as well, the performance of this EAP is a lot better than previously, I can actually work now without constant irritation:)

I wish, My VS2010 is running dog slow after the EAP install.  Not sure it is Resharper, but unsure what else has changed recently.

If you have any other extensions/add-ins try to uninstall them.

Hello Nick,

If you're are experiencing some performance issues, please capture some perf
snapshots following these instructions: http://tinyurl.com/bqfkh34, upload
them to ftp://ftp.intellij.net/.uploads/ and post the file names here with
step-by-step description of what you were doing in Visual Studio while a
snapshot was being taken. This would really help us to identify and address
the problems you're experiencing. Thank you!

I did do a perf profile, but after looking at it I noticed DevArt's CodeCompare was eating up a majority of the time.  I've uninstalled it and things seem better.  I was going to upload the profile anyway, but since I have no FTP program on this machine and Explorer wouldn't connect to it...come to think of it Nomad.NET couldn't upload to the FTP site either.  It would connect but say I don't have permissions.  Though it maybe because it is not a true FTP program.  If I have more issues I'll re-perf and upload a file.
