Weird question marks being displayed, interfering with the code!

So, I open one of my code files, and Resharper has put a massive
amount of question marks and werid symbols all over the file...and I
mean right in the middle of the code.  The code is unreadable!

I have to uninstall Resharper or else I can't get work done!  What a
shame.

I am running Win 7 64-bit, using Visual Studio 2005, with resharper
5.1.1.  I have included a screen shot so you can see what is going on.

How can I fix this?!

Unless / until I get an answer, I am forced to uninstall Resharper.
