Using Visual Assist and ReSharper at the same time

To everybody who is interested in this problem. One of ReSharper users had a conversation with guys at Whole Tomato and here's what they said:

"Unfortunately, Resharper and VA X cannot live inside the IDE at the same time. We see this as a problem for mixed C++/C# developers and intend to add an option to our product so it disables itself for C#.

We expect the fix in the next few builds."

Thanks,

May I ask why you are leaving this up to them?
Also some of the features compleat each other.
Visual Assist does spell checking in strings and comments that I would really like in my C# code.
WholeTomato seems to be a smaller shop but they have a very established product. I would expect you guys to carry some of the load.
Thanks
Joey

Hello Joey,

Fixing the side-by-side execution problems requires a close collaboration
between developers of both products.
We alone cannot resolve this issue, because we don't know its source - some
technical details need to be
unveiled. Several months ago we proposed WholeTomato to investigate the problem
together but it seems
that the proposal wasn't of great interest for them.
