Printing from VS2003 with R# colors

Does anyone know how to get VS2003 to honor the Tools -> Options ->
Environment -> Fonts and Colors -> Printer settings when printing to a color
laser? Not a biggie, but after R# spends so much time with its excellent
syntax highlighting, seems a shame that I can use it when printing.

Also, slightly off topic, is there some way of installing R# builds without
VS2003 losing all of the customized toolbars?

Thanks

Hello Richard,

ReSharper display items should be available in the 'Printer' category of
the Fonts and Colors page of the Options dialog. Aren't
they for you?

Unfortunately, losing customized toolbars is caused by running 'devenv.exe
/setup' during installation which is a necessary action
for ReSharper to work correctly. This is a known bug in VS that this command
also destroys customized toolbars. I remember,
however, that there is a workaround - you need to backup the VS's CmdUI.prf
file before installing ReSharper, then install ReSharper,
restore this file, disable and then enable ReSharper. Doing so should preserve
your customization and allow ReSharper to initialize
its UI in VS. Please try this method.

The selections are available, but printing just doesn't seem to honor them.
For example, in the Printer settings, the ReSharper Method Identifier color
is set to the default dark cyan-ish color, but prints with the default
VS2003 black. This is not a critical problem, and may just be a problem
with VS2003. Thanks for the tip on the tool bars. Have been looking for
that preference file for a while. ReSharper isn't the only install that
does this!
