Hello shaul,

this hotfix is packaged with ReSharper 2.0. Haven't you been prompted to
install it when you're installing ReSharper?

Just to clarify:

I saw the message once, and it installed it once. Since then, when I
uninstall an old version of ReSharper and install a new one, it doesn't ask.
I'm assuming uninstalling Resharper doesn't uninstall the hot-fix. But I do
know that in the last build (not the one I have currently installed) I saw
the same color problems I saw without the patch. But I'm not seeing them
now. It just seems like something funny is going on, but I have no hard
data or anything repeatable to give you at this time.

Hello Paul,

what exactly do you mean under 'the same color problems'? Hotfix is intended
to resolve the issue with completely
mixed colors (like green background for local variables) because of a VS
bug. It is indeed not uninstalled during uninstallation
of ReSharper - there's no need to uninstall it, as it is not the part of
the ReSharper product.

Hello shaul,

the corresponding Knowledge Base article is not yet publicly available on
Microsoft site. The hotfix resolves the problem with mixing different colors
in VS editor
that appears when ReSharper highlighting is enabled. You can search the
jetbrains.resharper.eap.newsgroup for more information.
