New .resharper File Inside Solution Folder w/ ReSharper 2.5

Hi. I have ReSharper configured to store its cache outside of my code base.

Prior to 2.5, all I see inside my code is a file named XXX.resharper.user inside the solution folder, where XXX is the name of my solution.

With 2.5, I now see an additional file named XXX.resharper. What is it used for? Does it supercede the XXX.resharper.user file?

Hello Salty,

in fact, the "*.resharper" file has always existed - it stores ReSharper
settings related to the solution which are
intended to be shared among all the developers working on this solution.
This file can be put into the version control
unlike "*.resharper.user" file which stores user personal settings.
