this is a bug that this feature is disabled - it should not be present at all. Unfortunately we had to remove it due to some internal changes aimed to reduce memory footprint at the cost of loosing the ability to implement Go To Symbol efficiently.
unfortunately, yes, it does. I'm (and many others are) also sorely missing this feature. Whether we will be able to re-implement it before the 2.0 release depends on our schedule and the number of bugs to fix.
Hello Eric,
the option will be provided soon.

I don't have an NNTP browser, and just use the website, can you please direct me to a web link I can use for the EAP newsgroup?
Thanks.
Also, in the interest of saving another post, I have another build 212 question.
Why is "Go To > Symbol (CtrlShiftN)" disabled??

You said you would bring this back.
Please it's ever so sorely missing.
If the memory footprint is too big for most users, make it an option which can be turned on.
Thanks.
Hello Eric,
this feature will most likely appear in the next release, ReSharper 3.0.
