Cannot import keyboard bindings after installing R# 2.5.2
Hi
Usually after the installation of the new R# version I have to import previously
saved VS configuration, because R# overrides keyboard settings on every update.
However, this time i cannot import settings exported immediately before
R# 2.5.2 installation.
I suspect that it is due to some chnages in R#. Is it possible? Does anybody
elese have the same problem?
thank you

Hi Serge,
I researched the problem a little. I am sure that the problem is not related
to the lastes R# version, but it is likely that it is due to R#.
The problem is with "exporting visual studio settings" and "importing visual
studio settings".
I can export VS studio settings and import them back in pure VS 2005 SP 1
(checked in VM). However in my environment VS produces .vssettings file
which VS refuses to import later. VS says about unsupported version of the
settings file format.
As I did the same export/import on every installation of R# (I am using different
keyboard mapping), I know that it was always possible to do. So my guess
is that either latest/previous version of R# has changed something or MS
released some VS update causing this problem. I do not use any other add-ins
except R#.
I found a solution that works for me. If I export keyboard settings only,
I can them import back later. I cannot be definitely sure that R# causes
this problem. If it causes, you may have some suspects how it could happen.
Meanwhile could you answer the question in news://news.jetbrains.com/8a232e8d17632d8c95a2692755d0c@news.jetbrains.com?
Thank you
Yuriy
