ReSharper adding clipboard contents to Toolbox

Ever since I installed ReSharper I've noticed that each time I copy something to the clipboard it gets added to the Toolbox as a "Text" item. This is getting really frustrating as every once and awhile I have to go in and delete 80+ "Text" entries.

Is there a way to disable this?

Thanks,
Shawn

Hello Shawn,

I've tried to repeat it, but for me the text copied into the clipboard didn't
appear in the Toolbox. Could you please specify the exact sequence of steps?
And which Toolbox group the 'Text' entries are placed into? Thanks.

Darn. It shows up in the active group, can be any of them, even custom ones.

I never had it happen before ReSharper, maybe I should just reinstall visual studio. Very very strange.

Thanks for pointing out that its not so much a feature, and just a problem with mine.

Hello Shawn,

no, ReSharper indeed has something to do with the Toolbox - actually, ReSharper's
'Paste Multiple' feature implementation
uses Toolbox for communicating with the clipboard. So it can easily be a
problem of ReSharper. I'll try to repeat it ASAP.

Hello Shawn,

no, unfortunately I haven't managed to repeat this problem. Could you please

Sorry for the delay, I didn't realize you had responded.

Here is a screen shot I just took while cleaning up a few hundred entries. I may just have to uninstall resharper and go back to coding without it.

Still looking into it? I really would like to keep using ReSharper, but if it continues to this it's going to be slowing me down more than helping my productivity.

Hello Shawn,

yes, I'm still looking into it, but the problem doesn't happen for me. Could
you please point
out the exact steps to reproduce?

Of course.

1. Open visual studio
2. Copy or Cut anything (code, controls, etc)
3. Whine about it showing up in the toolbox

Hello Shawn,

sorry I can't repeat it this way. Perhaps there are some peculiar VS options
controlling Toolbox behavior that you enabled?

It happened as soon as I installed resharper.

Is there a way for me to back up my resharper settings so I may uninstall it and see if it is still occurring? It took me over an hour to configure resharper to my liking, I would hate to have to redo that all over again.

Thanks.

I'l try this, and it seems to me, that R# does not do anyhthing with
clipboard. Does not add to toolbox on my pc. I think VS.NET has broken
its own settings or other tool missed up with clipboard...

Hello Shawn,

all global (i.e., not solution-dependent) ReSharper setttings are stored
in the file like this:

"C:\Documents and Settings\<user-name>\Application Data\JetBrains\ReSharper\v3.0\vs8.0\UserSettings.xml"
