Resharper Help in MSDN
I installed 3.1 for VS9.0 and I dont get Resharper help in MSDN. I tried
both the Full version and the C# only version without any success. I do see
the Help folder in the install directory though.
Any idea on how to enable Resharper Help in MSDN?
Thanks.

This works for me with VS2008 installed.
Open MSDN.
The first page displayed is title 'the visual studio combined help collection':
ms-help://MS.VSCC.v90/dv_vscccommon/html/05f46ffd-ff64-4c94-a0fc-bb665d74d24d.htm
Click on the link 'Visual studio combined help collection manager': ms-help://MS.VSCC.v90/dv_vscccommon/local/collectionmanager.htm
You'll see a list of all help collections. Check resharper and press the 'update vscc' button.
If running on Vista you'll need to start MSDN with admin privileges.

I can see it. But the problem is how can I start MSDN with admin privileges
under Vista? My account has admin privileges.
Thanks.

run msdn from the start menu. Right click and select 'run as administrator'.

Thanks. That did it.

Hello,
Help integration into the 9.0 MSDN colletion is not supported by the R# 3.1
release, sorry. Throughout most of the 3.x development VS was in beta, and
VS9 support was experimental, so the help integration did not get into the
installer. For the forthcoming 3.11 release we're extending the help with
the new Solution-Wide Analysis topics, and MSDN collection integration will
be enabled in the installer for both supported VS versions.
One way is to mount it manually into the collection using the MSDN Collection
Manager. The other way is to run the R# help standalone, with “dexplore.exe
/helpcol ms-help://JetBrains.ReSharper.1033”.
