Problems with unit test runner.
Does anyone else have this problem when running unit tests? When I click the unit test side bar mark and select "Run" the Unit Test Sessions never gets past "Building..."

Hello Peter,
Does the build indeed starts? What VS and ReSharper versions are you using?
Which service packs are installed? May be other addins?

I reported this same problem yesterday. The only thing that changed (apart
from the new R# version) was the installation of Silverlight 2 beta 2 sdk
and tools for VS2008.
Maybe that's the reason?
Thanks,
Pablo

Hello Pablo,
Since Silverlight 2 Beta 2 arrived quite recently, it well may be the cause.
We also got some feedback about the problems with SP1 Beta 2 for VS 2008.
We will check this and update ReSharper if needed in the first bugfix update.

This is with VS 2005 SP1 (team system, if that makes a difference). I'm sure I have some version of Silverlight installed; but not a Silverlight SDK.
The build does not start.
I have the same problem when I run a test that uses the Microsoft Policy
Injection Application Block from Enterprise Library 4

I've removed the Microsoft Source Analysis add-in, and my problems are
gone...now I run the tests with no problems.
It seems that add-in needs more work, as I also had problems with project
property pages too (that's what prompted me to remove it...).
Thanks,
Pablo

I've uninstalled Microsoft Source Code Analyzer as well and the problem went away. Thanks!
Microsoft Source code Analyzer is a scourge...

I've logged a bug agains Microsoft Source Analysis for C#:
http://code.msdn.microsoft.com/sourceanalysis/WorkItem/View.aspx?WorkItemId=34
I started to experience this earlier in the week and couldn't track it down.
Thanks for the pointer to uninstalling Source Analysis. Worked a treat.
