The Old Gripe: Keyboards Shortcuts Busted

Hello,

I feared it, but it came true: Upon upgrading to RS4 most of my treasured RS keyboard shortcuts could not be migrated.

How often have I now gone through this? Numerous times. In fact, it seems that almost every new RS major or minor version absolutely has to rename some of the keyboard command names.

I save and backup my VisualStudio keyboard bindings, but, alas, there is no use, since the following had to be renamed, no matter what:

Error 1: Keyboard: The command 'ReSharper.ReSharper_IntroduceParameter' does not exist. The keyboard shortcut bound to this command has been ignored.
Error 3: Keyboard: The command 'ReSharper.ReSharper_ShowFileStructure' does not exist. The keyboard shortcut bound to this command has been ignored.
Error 5: Keyboard: The command 'ReSharper.ReSharper_GotoContainingElement' does not exist. The keyboard shortcut bound to this command has been ignored.
Error 7: Keyboard: The command 'ReSharper_SilentReformatCode' does not exist. The keyboard Error Error 12: Keyboard: The command 'ReSharper.ReSharper_ReformatCode' does not exist. The keyboard shortcut bound to this command has been ignored.
Error 14: Keyboard: The command 'ReSharper.ReSharper_CompleteCodeSmart' cannot be bound to keyboard shortcut 'ShiftAltSpace', because it is already unbound within the same scope, Global.
Error 15: Keyboard: The command 'ReSharper.ReSharper_CompleteCodeTypeName' cannot be bound to keyboard shortcut 'CtrlShiftSpace', because it is already unbound within the same scope, Global.

As much as I like RS (and can't live without it as a developer), as much I hate this migration nightmare.

When, oh when will you change your process regarding the renaming of keyboard command names?

Cheers,

Christian
