Moving Cursor to end of line

I can't seem to find a setting for this behavior, but it's an irritation and I'd like to turn it off.

If I hit the delete key at the end of a line of code, and that causes another line of code to be pulled up into the current line, the cursor moves immediately to the end of this new line (which is now all the same line)

this seems to happen whether the line is a semi-colon terminated line or not. i'd like to stick with the original behavior of just leaving the cursor where it was, i.e. in between the last character of the first line of code, and the first character of the line that was just pulled up.

is this a bug, or can I just not find the right setting?

I'm using Resharper 2.5 build #383 in VS 2005.

That behavior isn't happening for me.  I'm using R# 4.1.933.3 on VS 2008.  My delete key is mapped to the Edit.Delete function.

Ok, it might not be a resharper issue. I found that if I turn off Word Wrap in Visual Studio->Edit->Advanced->Word Wrap then it stops happening. So it could be a visual studio issue, or a combination. If it is a visual studio issue I'd like to see resharper fix it with some 'real' text wrapping behavior.

but then again, I'm using 2.5, so maybe they already have.

I could not find any indications as of R#'s interference with Del behavior.
Yes, sometimes the caret would jump to the end of line. Probably, Visual
Studio issue (it has a number in the Word Wrap mode, eg Undo would jump to
EOL as well).

R# 2.5 actually had huge problems in the Word Wrap mode, like caret jumping
to the end of line after completion and several other actions. I'm afraid
either the Word Wrap setting or R# version will have to be changed.
