A small feature suggestion

When I place my mouse cursor at the #endregion tag, it would be nice to show me the region name (because its hard to know, especially with nested or huge region) and to be able to close the region using the closing tag. Not only the opening one...

Even better, provide the closing #endregion tag when I type a new #region
tag, and have it complete with the name text.

Currently I type a new #region tag, then hit Ctrl-D to duplicate the line,
and then edit the new line to say #endregion.

Since ReSharper already provides closing quotes and parents and braces, this
would seem like a logical extension of that paradigm.

Optionally it could sync the text after the matching #endregion when you
edit the text of the paired #region (and vice-versa) to help keep those in
sync.

Hello,

Have you tried the File Structure view? If auto-sync to editor is on, you
can quickly see where the caret is in the file, including region names.

Oh yes, I use it all the time.  I don't know how anyone lives without it :)
It's great for navigation (though I still sometimes get into states (both in
4.x and 5.x builds) where double-clicking won't take me to the definition...
most of the time it works, sometimes it doesn't, and I haven't figured out
why).

But this request was about writing code, not navigating it.  It would just
be a nice little feature similar to the auto-close parens if entering a
Region auto-entered a matching close.  It's not a big deal at all.  Like I
said, I usually select/drag-copy/drop or Ctrl-D/cut-paste.

Hello,

Yes, I see the point here.

PS. Regions could also be created in File Structure View (around selection),
or during Code Cleanup if member reordering defines regions in its template.
Unfortunately, authoring a template is not very straightforward ;) but having
done so you shouldn't be bothered by creating any regions by hand anymore.
