ReSharper 5.0 issues

Use the CtrlR, CtrlR sequence to rename something and ReSharper asks if it
should override Visual Studio's existing key binding. I went through this
dialog several times before it finally changed the key binding to
ReSharper's Rename.

ReSharper does not analyze naming standards for structs marked with
StructLayoutAttribute.

Use the splitter control to split a text window and A) ReSharper's
highlights are in the upper pane but the highlight bar is removed from the
lower pane, or B) ReSharper ceases to function altogether until the code
file is closed and re-opened.

FYI: This is the release version of ReSharper with the release version of
Visual Studio 2010.

Here are a few more issues I'm finding with the release version of
ReSharper.

When defining a new method signature, for some odd reason ReSharper often
shows an intellisense popup highlighting Console after typing the closing
parenthesis. Thus, I typically something like:

private static void define(string name, int value)

and expect to get the open/closing braces and the cursor indented ready to
type the method body. Instead, I often get:

private static void define(string name, int value)Console

I have a class composed of approximately 1,200 lines of C# code (it's a
conversion project of some ancient legacy code with no compiler errors). It
is too big and needs to be refactored after I finish cleaning up the
internal bits. It's a little slow (but adequate) without any errors, but if
introduce an error in the code (e.g. I change a method parameter from char[]
or char* to string or I change a variable from char[] to string), ReSharper
becomes so excruciatingly slow while typing (and drops keystrokes) even if
only one line of code in one tiny method is affected. I don't know why, but
ReSharper seems to be brutal when it comes to analyzing a file with any
errors in it.

Hello Greg
Thank you for feedback! Regarding the issues you've mentioned:

     1. Naming rules are not applied to structs marked with [StructLayout]: See http://youtrack.jetbrains.net/issue/RSRP-110430.
     2. ReSharper disappears when code window is splitted: This is a know problem and we're investigating it at the moment.
     3. IntelliSense when defining a new method signature: could you please attach a screenshot demonstrating the problem?
     4. Performance problems when there are errors: could you please gather some performance snapshots following the instructions at www.jetbrains.net/confluence/display/ReSharper/ReSharper+Performance+Profiling+Instructions and upload them to ftp://ftp.intellij.net/.uploads/?

2. Resharper disappears when code window is splitted: Do you also investigate it for Visual Studio 2008?  I notice, that after splitting the code window also navigation functions of R# (Goto Declaration, Find Usages etc.) are disabled. After restarting Visual Studio everthing continues working. I also work with the release build (1659.36), and i'm working on a VB solution.

Regards
Klaus
